ETMA membership drive into new areas starts to gain traction.
ETMA, the Enterprise Technology Management Association, announces that CloudAdmin has joined the organization as its newest member. The addition of CloudAdmin marks an important milestone in a membership recruitment effort to augment traditional members’ areas of Telecom and Technology Expense Management (TEM) and Managed Mobility Services (MMS).
ETMA seeks to create an ecosystem of partners for alliance partnerships and sales channel expansion. A recent survey found that 94% of ETMA members partner with other members, and 65% have partnerships with 4 or more members. Twenty-eight percent seek to find new partners to extend their capabilities and product offerings reselling other firms’ products/services. In addition, 35% seek to find partners that will sell their services. Most firms no longer focus exclusively on TEM and MMS. ETMA membership provides opportunities to meet principals at other firms and form business partnerships to accelerate this transition and increase value to enterprise clients.
Pawel Gieniec, CEO and Founder of CloudAdmin said, “We are pleased to provide a highly flexible, lightweight cloud cost optimization platform to ETMA members and their customers. CloudAdmin delivers a cutting edge, best in class, cost optimization platform to a portfolio of customers. This is an essential tool to navigate a highly complex infrastructure world. We are pleased to see more and more Data Centers, MSPs and TEMs taking advantage of CloudAdmin’s technology to beat complexity and cost challenges, then deliver significant value to their customer base. Gartner predicts world wide end-user spending on public cloud services will jump from $332.3B in 2021 to $692.1B in 2025, attaining a 16% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR).”
Aric Philipson, ETMA Executive Board member and Sakon Vice President of Mobile Alliances and Strategy said, “With CloudAdmin, our membership drive into new areas is starting to gain traction. I am leading an effort to recruit firms that focus on: IT Financial Management, Cloud Management, Asset Management, Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), Mobile Device Management (MDM), the Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Security, and other areas adjacent to existing members’ market segments. We can also seek to attract Network and Solutions Integrators, Telecom Carriers, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), IT Service Management (ITSM), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Master Agents, Value Added Resellers (VARs), Distributors, analyst firms and other key influencers”
Joe Basili, ETMA Managing Director said. “Our members are excited with the addition of CloudAdmin. Nearly five years ago, with our name change, the re-branding effort sought to attract firms outside the original TEM and MMS focus areas. There has been steady progress, but we need to be more deliberate in terms of the contacts that we engage and the firms that we recruit.”
