ETMA, the Enterprise Technology Management Association, next conference will be February 18 thru the 20th in downtown Phoenix. In the weeks leading up to the conference, ETMA will be encouraging members to post on social media images spotlighting where they are traveling from to attend the conference using the hashtags #ETMA, #MMS, and #TEM.
The ETMA board has developed a very strong agenda
- Speakers and panelists will address Telecom Expense Management, TEM, Managed Mobility Services, MMS, Mobile Devices, Mobility Management, Enterprise Mobility Management, Enterprise Mobility.
- John Greenberg from Apple on management and deployment of products from an enterprise perspective.
- Gene Trinks Android Enterprise: plans for Android OS, Managed Google Play and the Android partner ecosystem.
- A panel on Creating an IoT Practice: real applications; best verticals; how to make money and more.
- Spend management for cloud and subscription services (AWS, O365, Conferencing, etc.) and consumption considerations in “standard” TEM platforms.
- Challenges managing billing with SDWAN and M2M Data Wireless, and other services moving into the cloud.
- EMM/MMS – How is it changing? What do clients want?
- Business growth strategies.
- And more.
Most attendees will arrive on Tuesday for a tour of the Childhelp facility tour and ETMA Gives Back charitable fundraiser dinner. Childhelp exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. Its efforts include advocacy, prevention, treatment and community outreach with foster care, hot lines and crisis intervention, mental health.
The conference will officially start at 10:30 AM on Wednesday with a networking icebreaker activity. Presentations will feature members speaking on panels with a continued balance between traditional topics that focus on Telecom and Technology Expense management, TEM, Managed Mobility Services, MMS, and new areas of enterprise technology management. This conference will also will feature a network café coffee/bar before and after conference sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. ETMA Members are encouraged to register for the conference today.
