About Paul Spencer
Paul Spencer is a seasoned channel and business-development executive whose career spans more than two decades of technology, mobility and partner-ecosystem leadership. Currently serving as Channel Chief at T‑Mobile, he is responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for the company’s channel partner program — equipping partners with the tools, services and value propositions to address the most pressing technology and connectivity needs of enterprises of all sizes.
Prior to his current role, Paul held leadership positions across the T-Mobile ecosystem. From January 2020 to January 2022, he served as Director of Channel Partner Sales, where he championed the “Un-Carrier” promise toward the channel community, helping partners unlock the value of T-Mobile’s industry-leading 5G network and award-winning customer care freeing partners and customers from costly contracts, over-age charges and poor service.
From January 2017 to January 2020, he served as Senior Sales Manager for T-Mobile for Business (Greater Chicago Area), managing a team of five and overseeing 35 direct sellers focused on helping business customers escape burdensome contracts and overspending, leveraging a portfolio of world-class solutions to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.
Earlier in his career, Paul served as Director of Sales, National Retail for Samsung Electronics from 2011-2013: managing mobile retail relationships with key U.S. retailers such as Best Buy and Target, including roadmap planning, business development, marketing and analytics.
He also served as Regional Director for the Central Region with Auctions By Cellular, and began his professional journey at T-Mobile from 2001-2011 as a Senior Sales Manager calling on Fortune 500 enterprise accounts in the Minneapolis and St. Louis/Kansas City markets, driving account growth, partnership development and sales culture transformation.
Paul’s broad experience across enterprise mobility, channel ecosystems and technology partnerships gives him rare perspectives on how to mobilize partner networks to meet the evolving demands of business transformation. With a mindset oriented toward value creation and operational excellence, he brings to his role a deep belief that successful channels require not just incentives, but real-world tools, data-driven insights and collaborative programs built around mutual growth.
