Mark Hearn CEO of Network Control and ETMA Vice President said, “It is important to see balance in setting ETMA priorities in its focus on fixed and mobile areas. A good example is ETMA’s work to drive industry standards and best practices. Solid, well defined inventory management is paramount to accurate reporting analytics, cost reductions and successful client engagements.”
Charlie Yielding CEO of G Squared Wireless said, “I am excited to serve on the board of directors at ETMA. The enterprise mobility industry is growing rapidly, and experiencing proliferation at a rate that was not possible 10 years ago. With that change comes the responsibility to establish best practices and industry standards to help improve the quality of products the industry offers. I look forward to joining the leadership team that will push this progress in quality and consistency to our industry.”
“The TEM industry is drastically changing the way Enterprises manage their technology estate” said Jane Sydlowski, President of AMI Strategies. “With the rapid growth of IoT initiatives, Unified Communications and more, managing inventory, licenses, and mobile “things” while making certain the associated invoices are correct, is a tremendous and complicated endeavor. TEM companies have used their expertise and invested millions of dollars to simplify the madness. I am honored to serve on the board of ETMA to help this unique industry with standards, ethics and empowerment.”
David Sonenstein Executive Director of EZWIM said, “Having been a member of the ETMA Ethics Committee, I am thrilled to be expanding my role within ETMA’s leadership. I am constantly amazed how, even in an industry as competitive as ours, members can come together and collectively raise the standards of quality in our solutions and our relationships with each other. If you are in the space but not participating in ETMA, you are certainly missing out.”
In addition, to the election a wide range of members and guests networked and exchanged ideas. There were round table discussions, fixed and mobile tracks and sessions that were structured to advance industry knowledge on a range of topics. Meeting highlights included:
- Opportunities to meet new strategic partners.
- ETMA’s purpose; core values; brand promises; key initiatives.
- Reaffirmation of the ETMA Ethics Code.
- Industry standards for mobile and fixed Inventory.
- A panel on new ways to think about software for the industry.
